Prompt & Skill Library
Versioned prompts and skill definitions, compared by evals before anyone reuses them
Prompt & Skill Library keeps prompts and skill definitions as versioned, owned, evaluated objects. It is eligible from W2 but outside the Year-1 boundary; in Year 1, versioned Skill Packs and agent versions in Studio are the substitute.
Prompts are code
Prompts and skill definitions decide how an agent behaves, so they deserve the same care as code. The Prompt & Skill Library is eligible from W2 and planned to be built in W3. In Year 1, versioned Skill Packs in the template layer and agent versions in Agents Studio do this job.
Prompts and skills as objects
Prompt objects hold versioned text with variables, model compatibility, an owner and tags. Skill definitions hold an Action graph, prompts and tool-use examples, with semver versions. Search, tags, owners and deprecation make the library manageable as it grows.
Evaluated before reuse
Every version can be compared with another using the agent's eval suites: pass rate, cost and latency. Usage statistics show which agents use each version, how many runs, the cost and the pass rate. Reuse works with pinning, so an agent keeps the version it was evaluated with, and upgrade notices show a diff and an eval delta. Prompt optimisation variants are generated and evaluated before they are proposed, never applied silently.
Safe content
Prompts and examples are scanned for secrets, personal data and prompt-injection patterns. The tenant library is kept separate from One3 shared snippets, and shared snippets contain no tenant data. Production library entries go through a publish approval workflow.
Bringing your own
Prompts and skill definitions exported from CrewAI, n8n and other tools can be imported (licence of imported content to be verified). Partner-published skills in the Marketplace are planned later. The library connects directly to Agents Studio, where pinned versions are part of each immutable agent version, and to Evaluation Studio, which supplies the suites used for comparison.

Workflow
Improve a prompt safely
- 1
Create a new version of the prompt
- 2
Run the agent's eval suites on it
- 3
Compare pass rate, cost and latency
- 4
Request publish approval
- 5
Agents adopt by pinning the new version

Frequently asked questions
Is the library in Year 1?
No. It is eligible from W2 and planned for W3. Year 1 uses versioned Skill Packs and agent versions instead.
Can I import prompts from other tools?
Imports from CrewAI, n8n and other exports are planned; check the licence of imported content.
Will a new prompt change my agent automatically?
No. Agents use pinned versions and adopt new ones through a release.
