Industry Edition · I-19

Job work, samples, size-set BOMs and bulk order costing for garment and textile units.

The Textile & Apparel Edition is planned for textile and garment units. It covers job-work tracking through weaving, dyeing and stitching, design and sample tracking, size-set BOMs, bulk order costing and online sales.

Planned · Years 4–5 (W5)

Textile and garment businesses send fabric through many hands: weavers, dyers, printers, stitching units. Material leaves the factory and must come back as the right quantity and quality. The Textile & Apparel Edition is designed to track that movement on one record.

How the work runs

  • Designs and samples. Each design carries its sample history, approvals and costing. Buyer feedback is logged against the sample.
  • Size-set BOMs. Manufacturing & Quality holds BOMs that vary by size and colour, so material needs for a bulk order are calculated per size set.
  • Bulk order costing. Fabric, trims, job-work charges and overheads roll up into an order cost before the price is agreed.
  • Job work. Material sent to weaving, dyeing or stitching units is recorded with challans. Inventory & Warehouse tracks what is out with each job worker and what has returned, including wastage.
  • Purchasing. Procurement buys yarn, fabric and trims against orders.
  • Billing and tax. Billing & Invoicing raises invoices. Tax Engine handles GST, including job-work provisions.
  • Online sales. Brands selling direct can use Online Store on the same item master.

Digital Employees

An AI Production Scheduler proposes production plans and checks material availability. An AI Quality Control Assistant prepares inspection checklists and drafts NCRs for defects. An AI Inventory Replenishment Specialist drafts purchase proposals for yarn and trims. An AI Supplier Performance Analyst scores job workers on time and quality. They work for production and merchandising teams under supervision.

Compliance

GST job-work provisions and export documentation, where relevant, apply. These are pointers to confirm with counsel.

What this Edition is designed to solve

Material out with job workers

Costing errors

Bulk orders are priced before material and job-work costs are known.

Size and colour complexity

BOMs change by size set, making planning error-prone.

Sample tracking

Design versions and buyer feedback are lost in chats.
