Industry Edition · I-16
Admissions, beds, billing, TPA claims, staff and assets for hospital administration.
The Hospital Administration Edition is planned for the non-clinical side of hospitals. It covers the admissions desk, bed management, billing and TPA claims, OT scheduling, HR and payroll, procurement and biomedical asset maintenance.
Hospitals run on two tracks: clinical care, and the administration that keeps beds, staff, supplies and billing moving. The Hospital Administration Edition is designed for the second track only. Clinical decisions stay with clinicians and the hospital's clinical systems.
How the work runs
- Admissions desk and beds. Admissions are registered and beds allocated by ward and category. Bed status is visible to the admissions desk, nursing administration and housekeeping.
- OT scheduling. Operating theatre slots are booked and tracked so teams and rooms are ready on time.
- Billing and TPA claims. Billing & Invoicing builds the patient bill from services, consumables and room charges. Insurance and TPA claims are assembled with documents and followed up.
- Staff. Core HR and Payroll manage doctors', nurses' and support staff records, shifts and pay.
- Supplies. Procurement and Inventory & Warehouse manage drugs, consumables and implants by batch and expiry.
- Biomedical assets. Assets & Maintenance schedules preventive maintenance and calibration for equipment.
- Internal requests. Helpdesk handles requests from departments. Privacy Ops records processing activities, data requests and breaches.
Digital Employees (non-clinical)
An AI Medical Billing & Claims Assistant checks bills for completeness and assembles TPA claim documents. An AI Maintenance Planner schedules biomedical maintenance. An AI Payroll Checker catches payroll errors before approval. An AI Privacy (DPDP) Operations Assistant handles data requests on time. All are non-clinical, work under supervision and escalate to people.
Boundaries
Clinical decision support is out of scope without a medical-device regulatory review. NABH standards, insurance and TPA processes and ABDM are pointers to confirm with counsel.
