Industry Edition · I-34
Client compliance calendars, document portals, filing workflows and notice management.
The CA & Tax Practice Edition is planned for chartered accountants and tax practices. It covers the client compliance calendar, a document collection portal, GST, ITR and TDS filing workflows, notice management and engagement letters.
A CA practice serves many clients against a fixed calendar of due dates. Most of the effort goes into chasing documents, tracking filings and responding to notices. The CA & Tax Practice Edition is designed to run that calendar for every client on one record.
How the work runs
- Compliance calendar. Company Secretarial and Tax Engine hold each client's entities, registrations and due dates for GST, ITR, TDS and company filings. Calendar & Booking shows the practice-wide view and sends reminders.
- Document collection portal. Portals gives each client a secure place to upload bank statements, invoices and other documents against a checklist, so staff stop chasing on WhatsApp and email.
- Filing workflows. Each filing is a task with steps: collect, prepare, review, client approval, file, acknowledge. Status is visible per client and per staff member.
- Notices. Tax notices are logged with due dates, documents and responses, so none is missed.
- Engagement letters and time. Engagement letters set scope and fees. Timesheets & PSA records time per client to show which engagements are profitable.
- Knowledge. Knowledge holds circulars, internal checklists and past responses, so the team answers consistently.
Digital Employees
An AI GST & Indirect Tax Assistant reconciles GSTR data and flags mismatches before filing. An AI TDS & Direct Tax Assistant checks TDS computations and tracks certificates. An AI Document Controller classifies and files client documents. An AI Regulatory Watch Analyst summarises relevant rule changes. They work for the CA and staff under supervision. Every filing remains an R4 action that a person approves and submits.
Compliance
Professional body regulations and government portal access rules apply. Agents do not hold or use client portal credentials without explicit rules and approval. These are pointers to confirm with counsel and the professional body.
