Outcome Contracting
Standard outcome definitions, holdouts and disputes before any outcome pricing
Outcome Contracting defines billable outcomes, attribution windows, exclusions and disputes for rented agents. It follows a staged path: rent and credits first, then a capped bonus, and outcome-priced plans only after a dispute-rate gate passes.
Outcome pricing, carefully
Outcome pricing sounds attractive, but buyers and sellers often argue about what counts. Outcome Contracting, planned for W3, takes a staged path. Rent and credits come first. A capped bonus line with standard outcome definitions and evidence packs comes next; in Year 1 this is limited to a capped bonus invoice line and the dispute flow. Outcome-priced plans are considered only after a gate on reconciliation, dispute rate and holdout methodology passes, not before W5.
The contract
An outcome contract names the tenant, agents or squad, the billable outcome definition, evidence sources, the frozen baseline period, an attribution window and exclusions. A standard outcome definition library per template covers examples such as a qualified meeting held, a verified resolution or an invoice paid within a window. Contracts are drafted from counsel-approved templates, using Contracts where subscribed, and accepted by a named client signatory with a second factor as an R4 human Action.
Measuring fairly
Exclusions cover seasonality, discounts, existing pipeline, offline sales, client non-response and client-caused delays. A holdout and a minimum sample are required before any bonus accrues. Outcomes with evidence quality below the floor earn no bonus. Measurement closes after the dispute window, and billable outcomes are then finalised. The bonus is the verified outcome count times the bonus rate, capped, and appears as a Billing invoice line.
Disputes and fraud
Disputes use an evidence pack, credit notes and restatement through the Ledger. Fraud controls check for self-dealing, fake leads, duplicate outcomes and circular payments. Clients have audit rights and can appeal to senior human review. A gate dashboard tracks whether outcome-priced plans can be offered.
