Rental lifecycle
The nine stages of renting a Digital Employee, from discovery to offboarding.
The rental lifecycle has nine stages, each with entry and exit criteria: Discover (shortlist and cost range), Sandbox trial (synthetic or redacted data, no rent), Contract, Onboard (knowledge, permissions, brand voice, persona policy, frozen baseline and a client mandate), Probation (shadow then draft), Supervised production (A3 within caps), Monthly review (statement and scorecard), Decision (continue, retrain, replace or return) and Offboard.
Offboarding revokes the mandate and identity, exports data, deletes tenant memory and adapters and issues a deletion certificate. Rules cover trial charges, a probation guarantee, uptime credits, replacements without new setup fees for the same family, and itemised pass-through costs that are never refunded once incurred.
