Envelopes sent from the record, signed with India Stack methods and filed back
Sign executes documents inside the flows that create them: offer letters, quotes, SOWs, NDAs and vendor agreements. Envelopes carry signing order, fields, identity methods and a tamper-evident audit certificate, and the signed copy files back to the record.
Signing where the document is born
Sign is planned for W3 as an add-on with envelopes metered. A Send for signature Action is planned on quotes in CRM, offers in Recruit, employee documents in Core HR, contracts in Legal CLM and visitor NDAs. When the envelope completes, the source record updates and the signed PDF and certificate file to Drive and the record automatically.
The envelope core
An envelope can hold PDFs, converted DOCX files or a locked Docs version. Recipients act as signer, approver, viewer or CC, internal or external, in sequential, parallel or mixed order. Fields include signature, initials, date, text, checkbox and dropdown. The signing ceremony is mobile-first and accessible, shows the document hash and lets a signer decline with a reason. Electronic signatures can be typed, drawn or uploaded, authenticated by email, SMS or WhatsApp OTP. Reminders, expiry, void with reason and per-recipient status are standard.
India signatures and stamping
Aadhaar eSign is planned through an empanelled eSign Service Provider. One3 sends only the document hash; the ESP performs e-KYC and returns the signature, and One3 never stores the Aadhaar number. A consent screen with language options is recorded for each signer. An IT Act First Schedule guard classifies document types and blocks excluded instruments from electronic signature, with no override. DSC signing and partner e-stamping, with duty shown separately and passed through, are planned for W4. All of these are marked verify with counsel and providers.
Evidence that holds
The audit certificate records events with timestamps, IP, authentication method and document hashes before and after, and the final PDF is sealed with a platform certificate. A verification page lets anyone check the hash. An evidence export pack bundles the signed PDF, certificate, event log and provider references for disputes.
Human counter-signature, always
Organisation counter-signature is always by a named Authorised Signatory under the delegation-of-authority matrix, as an R4 Action with a second factor. Agents can prepare envelopes from records and, at earned autonomy, send on pre-approved templates. Agents never sign.
Templates and bulk
Templates carry roles, fields, order, identity method and document type. Bulk send creates one envelope per recipient, and an Authorised Signatory can sign a list of waiting envelopes in one session. Archived envelopes from DocuSign, Zoho Sign and Leegality can be imported as read-only records (verify export APIs).

Frequently asked questions
Is One3 an eSign Service Provider?
No. One3 is planned as an application that integrates a licensed eSign Service Provider. It does not act as an ESP or Certifying Authority (verify with counsel).
Can AI sign on my behalf?
No. Agents never sign, and organisation counter-signature is always a named human Authorised Signatory with a second factor.
Does Sign handle stamp duty?
Partner e-stamping is planned for W4. Duty and provider fees are shown before purchase and passed through (verify state coverage and rules with your CA).
Can I bring my old DocuSign envelopes?
Archived envelopes and certificates from DocuSign, Zoho Sign and Leegality are planned for import as read-only records, subject to their export APIs.
When is Sign planned?
Sign is planned for W3 (Year 2), with DSC and e-stamping depth in W4.
