Proposals, SOPs and offer letters that pull live record data and go straight to signing
Docs is a collaborative editor for proposals, SOPs, contracts, offer letters and reports. It embeds live record data, keeps comments and suggestions, round-trips DOCX for client formats and sends a locked version straight into Sign.
A document editor built on the business record
Docs is planned for W3 H2 as an add-on, built on the open-source TipTap editor with Yjs real-time co-editing. It covers what a team writes every week: proposals, SOPs, policies, contracts, offer letters and reports. Every document is stored as a Drive file, so permissions, versions, retention, legal hold and DPDP erasure all work the same way as for any other file.
Templates that fill themselves
Templates take variables from record data such as a deal, a quote, an employee or a contract, with conditional sections. A proposal can be generated from a deal and its quote; an offer letter from a candidate and the approved offer. Live embeds bring in record cards, tables from Sheets, charts from BI and task lists.
Review the way legal and HR expect
Comments with mentions, suggestion mode with bulk accept or reject and a preview with and without changes, named versions with compare and restore, and a document compare Action that produces suggestions rather than a static redline. Footnotes, endnotes and a table of contents generated from headings are planned for the first release because SOPs and policies need them. Publication of SOPs and policies can require approval and run an attestation campaign.
Client formats
DOCX import and export is measured against a published fidelity test set, with PDF export and ODF support. Track changes are planned to survive the DOCX round-trip, subject to that test set. A server-side conversion service handles DOCX, PPTX and the PDF render whose hash Sign locks. Page setup defaults to A4 with letterhead from the Brand kit, and Indic scripts render with licensed fonts.
Draft, review, sign, retain
A document moves from template to draft to co-edit, through approval if required, to a locked named version. From there it can be sent for signature, shared under policy, or published read-only. The envelope always references an immutable version, and the signed PDF files itself to the record folder.
Agents in suggestion mode only
The AI Contract Drafter, AI Policy Writer and AI Copy Editor work only as suggestions. A person accepts every change. AI writing, rewrite, shorten, tone and Hindi or Tamil translation are user-invoked, and AI cost per document posts to the ROI Ledger.

Frequently asked questions
When is Docs planned?
Docs is planned as an add-on for W3 H2, in Year 2.
Will my Word documents keep their formatting?
DOCX import and export is measured against a published fidelity test set, and the import report names anything that does not convert rather than flattening it silently.
Can AI change my contract text?
AI agents only create suggestions. A person accepts or rejects every change.
Can I sign a document straight from Docs?
Yes. A locked named version converts to PDF and opens in Sign; the envelope always references that immutable version.
