Engagement
Announcements, pulses and recognition, with privacy built into every survey
Engagement covers announcements, pulse and lifecycle surveys, recognition, communities and action plans. Survey analysis runs only on aggregated data above a minimum group size, with no individual sentiment scoring.
What it does
Engagement is planned as an add-on on Core HR for Year 3 (W4).
Announcements support audience targeting, scheduling, rich content, optional acknowledgement and multiple languages. Pulse surveys are short and recurring, with a question library and schedules. Lifecycle surveys run at onboarding milestones such as 30, 60 and 90 days and at exit, with a confidential (not anonymous) option that is clearly labelled.
Recognition covers peer-to-peer and manager recognition with badges, values tagging and public or private visibility, and links to Performance feedback. Recognition points and rewards are planned through partner catalogues (verify partner and tax treatment of rewards). Employee communities for interests or locations build on Chats. Celebrations cover opt-in birthdays, work anniversaries and welcome posts.
Reaching deskless staff
Pulses and announcements can be delivered over WhatsApp with opt-in, so frontline staff who do not open an HR app are still heard.
Acting on results
Survey results become action plans with owners and follow-up pulses. Managers get nudges based on team aggregates above a minimum group size. Aggregated engagement signals can feed Core HR attrition signals as an advisory input. A manager self-service workspace brings together pending approvals, team attendance and leave, onboarding progress and review due dates.
What is different
Engagement is built on no surveillance. Anonymous pulse responses store no employee id, reports require a minimum group size, and the per-survey key is designed to be destroyed shortly after close so no tenant role or One3 operator can re-identify responses. Sentiment themes are found on aggregated open-text only. There is no emotion analysis of employees and no individual sentiment score.
