Video Factory

Scripts to short, branded, captioned videos in 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9

Planned · Year 1 (W2)Sold as: Add-onInside the Year-1 boundaryC-66

Video Factory turns scripts and briefs into short, branded, captioned videos in the formats each channel needs, with disclosure and provenance. Render minutes are metered, and a lite version is planned inside Year 1.

What it does

Video Factory is built for the short videos marketing teams now need for every channel: explainers, product promos, announcements and avatar-led clips. You start a video project from a brief, an approved Content Hub video script or a blank project, and set target duration, formats, language and brand kit.

The lite pipeline (planned W2)

  1. Script to scenes: an automatic storyboard splits the script into scenes with narration, on-screen text, a visual suggestion and a duration.
  2. Scene media: for each scene, pick a DAM asset, a licensed stock clip, an AI clip from a licence-gated provider, or an avatar presenter segment from Avatar Studio.
  3. Voice-over: a licensed TTS voice per language with pronunciation hints.
  4. Captions: speech-aligned captions you can edit, burned in using brand kit styles, with SRT and VTT sidecars.
  5. Brand overlays: logo bug, intro and outro cards, lower thirds, palette and fonts.
  6. Multi-format render: 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9 from one project, with subject-aware reframing.

Renders run on a queue with status, retry and cancel, and a cloud fallback. Before rendering you see estimated render minutes and credits, plus a low-resolution preview under the tenant's preview policy. Every render gets a visible AI label where synthetic elements appear, a provenance record and C2PA credentials where feasible. Approved formats are saved to DAM and handed off to Social, Ads, WhatsApp or Sites. Actual render minutes and provider costs, including re-renders, post to the ledger.

Video Factory v2 (planned W3)

Year 2 adds timeline editing with trim, reorder, transitions, music beds and audio ducking; consented real-person presenters through Avatar Studio and the Rights Registry; Indic dubbing with translated captions and lip-sync where evals pass; video templates; a licensed music library; data-driven bulk video variants; a video brand and claims check; time-coded review comments; transcript-based editing; and takedown tasks when consent is revoked or rights expire.

Safeguards

Scripts with political, financial or health content go to human review before render. Failed renders caused by platform or provider faults are not charged. Agents can create a project only from an approved script, and they never publish.

Frequently asked questions

What is included in the Year-1 version?

The lite version planned for W2 covers script to scenes, stock, DAM and AI clips, TTS voice-over, captions, brand overlays and 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9 renders with disclosure and provenance. Timeline editing and dubbing are planned for W3.

How are render minutes charged?

Render minutes are metered. You see the estimate before rendering, user-requested re-renders are charged, and failures caused by the platform or provider are not.

Can I use a real person as the presenter?

Consented real-person presenters are planned for Video Factory v2 in W3, and only with an active consent grant in the Rights Registry. In W2, presenters are synthetic brand avatars.
