Template creatives, AI images, magic resize and bulk variants from a sheet
Design Studio produces static on-brand creatives quickly: templates filled by people, data sheets or agents, AI images and edits, and every channel format from one design. Year 1 is a lite template-based version; the full canvas is planned for Year 2.
What it does
Design Studio is for the creatives a growth team needs every week: social feed and story posts, WhatsApp images, display ads and thumbnails. You pick a template by channel placement, fill its slots and get every format you need from one design.
Year-1 lite scope (W2)
The W2 version is deliberately focused on template-based creatives, AI images and resize:
- Template library with system and tenant templates and format presets maintained as data.
- Template slot editor for text slots, image slots, palette-constrained colours and a logo slot, with live preview. There is no free canvas in Year 1.
- AI image generation from a prompt, style preset, brand palette hints and aspect ratio, through model routes that pass a licence gate, with an estimate before generation.
- Background removal for product and people images.
- Magic resize that reflows slots smartly into every selected channel format.
- Bulk variants from a data sheet: connect a CSV, XLSX, Google Sheet or product query, map columns to slots, preview sample rows and run a batch job.
- Design brand check combining the visual check from Brand & DAM with the Content Hub copy check on text slots.
- Export to PNG, JPG and PDF with C2PA signing where supported and an AI label where policy requires.
- Approval of the whole design set, internally and in the client portal, then hand-off to Social and Ads and saving to DAM with rights and usage links.
Studio v2 (planned W3)
Year 2 adds a full canvas editor with layers, groups, alignment, snapping, masks and undo history; brand-locked elements by role; 100-variant bulk jobs; SVG, layered PDF and JSON export; pinned comments and side-by-side version compare; generative fill, object removal and upscale; correct Indic script shaping; template authoring; WhatsApp catalog and Flow presets; design import; and alt text on exports.
What is different
Design Studio is not trying to match the template breadth of large design suites. It focuses on brand-governed templates and bulk variants that publish through One3 channels and report cost and return per asset. Every generated image is saved to DAM with its model and licence facts, so rights questions have an answer later.
In Year 1, Design Studio ships as an entitlement inside the Growth and Agency bundles until the add-on is packaged.

Lock position, colour, font or content per element by role (W3).
AI edit tools
Generative fill and expand, object removal and upscale on licence-gated routes (W3).
Indic typography
Correct shaping and line breaking for Indic scripts in canvas and export (W3).

Frequently asked questions
Is there a full design canvas in Year 1?
No. The W2 version is template-based creatives, AI images and resize. The full canvas editor is planned as Studio v2 in Year 2.
Can I make creatives from a product spreadsheet?
Yes. Connect a CSV, XLSX, Google Sheet or product query, map columns to template slots, preview sample rows and confirm the estimate before the batch runs.
Are AI-generated images safe to use commercially?
Image generation only runs on model routes whose licence allows the use, and each image is saved with its model and terms. Licence facts are verified before each route is enabled.
