Personal Finance

Consent-based budgeting through a licensed Account Aggregator partner. Information only

Planned · Years 6–10 (W6)Sold as: Add-onC-182

An add-on to One3 Personal or Household OS for read-only budgeting: consent-based account linking, categorisation with explanations, budgets, goals, subscription detection and household sharing. It gives information, never investment advice.

What it does

Personal Finance is planned to help individuals and households see and plan their money. Accounts link through India's Account Aggregator framework via a licensed Financial Information User partner. Transactions are categorised with an explanation on every row, budgets run in envelope or flexible mode, goals track progress, recurring charges and subscriptions are detected, and partners or household members can share selected accounts.

The catalog describes it as read-only budgeting via a licensed partner. It is an add-on to One3 Personal or Household OS, delivered as a partner service, and planned for W6. It will not enter a sprint until a licensed partner route is signed and counsel has signed off (verify).

Consent you can see and revoke

Before linking, the user sees the purpose, the financial data types, the date range, fetch frequency and expiry. Approval happens in the Account Aggregator flow with OTP. The consent status is tracked, and the user can revoke from One3 or the Account Aggregator at any time. On revoke, fetching stops and fetched data is deleted or kept according to the user's choice and the purge policy.

There is no SMS, email or notification scraping for financial data. Statement uploads in CSV, OFX or PDF are supported with a parsing preview; a password-protected PDF is opened only with the password the user types, which is never stored.

Information, not advice

The money assistant answers questions about the user's own spending, budgets and goals with transaction citations. It refuses recommendations to buy, sell or switch financial products and explains why, offering an adviser access grant or general education content instead. Calculators are arithmetic only, statutory rates come from rule facts rather than a model, and no product or fund is named.

One3 will not build spending-behaviour scores of individuals, creditworthiness inference, any prediction about a minor, or a "financial health score" that could be read as advice.

Household sharing

Each account can be shared, balance-only or private. Household spaces get shared budgets and goals, and transactions can be matched to Household OS bills to mark them paid after confirmation. At GA, contribution tracking shows who owes whom as records only.

The regulatory points on this page, including Account Aggregator and SEBI investment-advice rules, are pointers to verify with counsel, not legal advice.
