Online Store

Your storefront, WhatsApp, ONDC and marketplaces from one catalogue and one order book

Planned · Year 3 (W4)Sold as: Core / StandaloneC-83

Online Store lets a merchant sell on its own storefront, on WhatsApp, on ONDC and on marketplaces from one catalogue, price book and stock position. Checkout, disclosures and tax documents are designed to be India-compliant, and every order lands in the shared Order Book.

What it does

Online Store covers store setup, catalogue and listings, pricing and promotions, cart and checkout, shopper accounts, shipping and channels. Listings sit on the shared Item master, so the item, HSN/SAC and unit stay in one place while each store adds its title, description, media, SEO and visibility. Variants carry their own SKU, barcode, price, weight and media.

Built for Indian compliance

A store cannot go live until mandatory seller details, grievance officer contact and return, refund, shipping and cancellation terms are complete. Category-bound compliance attribute sets cover MRP, net quantity, manufacturer, packer or importer, country of origin, manufacture or import date, best-before, consumer care details and FSSAI number with veg or non-veg mark; publishing is blocked while they are missing. Selling above MRP is blocked where MRP applies. Checkout captures GSTIN for B2B buyers with validation and place-of-supply determination. Marketing consents are separate and unticked by default. All rules are to be verified.

Checkout and delivery

Checkout supports phone OTP or email, pincode serviceability, delivery or pickup, coupons and tax-inclusive totals. Payments run through Payments Hub partners: UPI intent, collect and QR, tokenised cards, net banking and wallets, plus COD by pincode, value and risk. Shipping zones and rates, a courier connector, a branded tracking page, NDR handling and reverse pickups are included.

Channels

WhatsApp orders and catalogue sync are part of the MVP; full conversational commerce (browse, cart in chat, UPI link, status, returns, human handover) follows at GA. ONDC seller integration runs through a registered participant, with sandbox certification steps before production. Marketplace, quick-commerce and food aggregator connectors, channel inventory buffers and product feeds are planned for GA, subject to verified API access.

The shared Order Book

Every channel order gets one status model, idempotent ingestion, stock reservation, fulfilment routing, cancellation, returns and exchanges, payment and tax document linkage, exception queues, channel SLA timers and settlement reconciliation. Planned for W4 (Year 3).

Frequently asked questions

Is there a platform fee on third-party payment gateways?

The plan is to charge no platform fee on transactions through third-party gateways. Packaging and prices are not yet published.

Can I keep my existing Shopify or WooCommerce store?

Yes. External storefronts can feed orders into the One3 order book, with each connection declaring whether One3 or the external platform is the authority for orders and stock.

How are compliance fields like MRP and FSSAI handled?

Category-bound attribute sets make them mandatory before publishing. AI can propose values, but a person confirms them against a cited source. Rules must be verified with your advisers.

Which marketplaces will be supported?

Top Indian marketplaces and quick-commerce platforms are planned at GA, natively or through partners, depending on verified API access.
