Industry Edition · I-15

Bookings, home collection, barcode tracking and report delivery for labs.

The Diagnostics Lab Edition is planned for pathology and diagnostic labs. It covers the test catalogue, home sample collection, barcode tracking, turnaround time, report delivery on WhatsApp and doctor referrals.

Planned · Year 3 (W4)

Diagnostic labs win on turnaround time and trust. A sample must be collected on time, tracked without error and reported quickly to the patient and the referring doctor. The Diagnostics Lab Edition is designed to keep that chain on one record.

How the work runs

  • Test catalogue. Tests and packages carry prices, sample types, preparation instructions and target turnaround times.
  • Bookings and home collection. Calendar & Booking takes walk-in and home-collection slots. Phlebotomists get routes and appointments for the day.
  • Barcode tracking. Each sample gets a barcode at collection. Its status moves from collected to received to processed to reported, so delays are visible.
  • Turnaround time. Dashboards show TAT per test and per branch, and flag samples at risk of missing the promise.
  • Reports. Approved reports are delivered on the WhatsApp channel or a download link, with the patient's consent. Vision AI can help read documents such as prescriptions at intake.
  • Doctor referrals. CRM tracks referring doctors and their patients' bookings.
  • Billing and stock. Billing & Invoicing raises bills and records payments. Inventory & Warehouse tracks reagents and consumables by batch and expiry.

Digital Employees

An AI Clinic Front Desk Agent (non-clinical) books tests, sends preparation instructions and answers billing questions. It gives no medical advice and does not interpret results. An AI Field Service Dispatcher plans home collection routes. An AI Inventory Replenishment Specialist drafts reagent reorders. They work for lab staff under supervision. Reports are released only by authorised lab personnel.

Compliance

Lab accreditation standards such as NABL (optional), health data consent and ABDM integration are pointers to confirm with counsel.
