Autonomy level
How much an AI agent may do on its own for one skill, from A0 (observe) to A4 (autonomous).
Autonomy in One3 is set per skill, per tenant, on a five-step ladder:
- A0 Observe — watches events, produces insights.
- A1 Suggest (shadow) — proposes Actions; a human executes; agreement is scored.
- A2 Draft — prepares the Action for one-click approval.
- A3 Act & notify — executes within budget and policy; a human can reverse or compensate.
- A4 Autonomous — executes and optimises within the goal boundary, only for R1–R3.
Autonomy is earned: each promotion needs measured agreement or edit rates and a minimum Eval Coverage Score, with zero critical failures. Demotion is automatic on an incident, regression or policy violation. R4 Actions never go above A2, and irreversible Actions keep an approval gate at every level.
