Action
A typed, permissioned and audited verb that is the single way anything changes in One3.
An Action is One3's core primitive: the verb that changes business state, such as crm.deal.move_stage or acc.invoice.send. Objects are nouns, Events are the past tense, Actions are the verbs.
Every Action declares an input and output schema, a risk tier (R0–R4), required permissions, an idempotency rule, side effects, a reversibility class and the events it emits. External Actions also declare how the provider confirms receipt and what happens on a timeout.
The UI, the public API, workflows, MCP clients, One3 agents and external AI assistants all call the same Action through the Action Bus. That is why the same approval rules apply whether a person clicks a button or a Digital Employee acts. The Action's description and examples also generate API docs, MCP tool definitions, Copilot skills and eval cases automatically.
