Product Management
Customer insight to prioritised roadmap, cited PRD and delivery, in one suite
Product Management helps teams decide what to build and why, using evidence from customers and the business, and hands decisions to delivery without re-typing. It closes the loop from Voice of Customer insight to PRD, epics, issues, releases and experiments.
What it does
Product Management is eligible from W3 and enters a sprint only through the plan's scoring with counted design-partner demand. It works with Helpdesk, CRM and Forms sources and is richest when Voice of Customer is also in place.
Evidence first
- Product hierarchy from product line to product area to feature, optionally linked to sold items.
- Insight inbox collecting Voice of Customer themes, Helpdesk tickets, CRM deal notes and lost reasons, Forms and Survey responses, sales call summaries, forwarded email and manual entries. Each insight links back to the customer and source record.
- Insight to feature linking: highlight a quote and link it to one or more features, with AI clustering suggestions that cite the source records.
- Features and opportunities with a problem statement, target personas, owner, status, effort estimate, linked insights and linked goals.
- Customer impact view per feature: requesting accounts, open deal value and renewal-at-risk accounts, where CRM and Customer Success data are entitled and permitted.
Decide and communicate
Prioritisation supports RICE, value versus effort and weighted scoring with tenant criteria, plus score history and rationale. AI impact suggestions list their inputs and never overwrite a human score. Roadmaps come in now, next, later and timeline views, with separate roadmaps for internal, sales and customer-facing audiences. A safety check catches internal fields, account names and exact dates before an external roadmap is shared. PRDs use templates, can be drafted by AI from linked insights with citations and assumptions labelled, and go through human review and approval.
Hand off and close the loop
Push to delivery creates an epic and issues in Issues & Sprints, or tasks in Projects when Issues is not entitled, and status syncs back. Release plans group features with readiness from Issues & Sprints. At GA, a customer-facing portal offers a roadmap and idea submission with voting through Portals, with moderation and approved publishing. Close the loop proposes notifications to customers linked through insights when a feature ships, with consent and contact-point checks per recipient and bulk send needing approval.
GA also plans goal and OKR alignment, experiment links, market and competitor notes with citations, importers from Productboard and Jira Product Discovery, the AI Product Manager Assistant and a read-only sales view with commit markers controlled by product.
