Whistleblower & Ethics

Safe, optionally anonymous reporting with confidential investigations and POSH workflows

Planned · Year 3 (W4)Sold as: Add-onC-125

Whistleblower & Ethics provides multi-channel, optionally anonymous intake of ethics concerns, POSH complaints and vigil-mechanism reports. Triage, investigation and outcomes run under strict access controls.

What it does

Whistleblower & Ethics is designed to give employees and others a safe way to raise concerns, and to run confidential triage, investigation and outcomes with strict access controls and anti-retaliation monitoring. It covers ethics concerns, POSH complaints and vigil-mechanism reports.

Intake

Reports can come through a web form with no login, mobile, WhatsApp, a voice hotline, email or an in-person record made by the committee. Anonymous reporters receive a report key and passphrase for two-way follow-up. For anonymous web reports, no IP or device data is retained, and anonymity limits per channel are disclosed. Before an anonymous submission, the reporter is warned if they appear to have included their own identity. Localised forms and hotline prompts in Indian languages are planned, with transcription marked machine-generated until verified.

Triage and investigation

Categories such as fraud, bribery, harassment and POSH, discrimination, safety, data misuse and conflict of interest route to configured committees. Triage is conflict-aware: named subjects are excluded from access, and routing bypasses a committee member who is implicated. Cases carry severity, status, investigator, timeline and restricted notes and evidence. Investigations follow a plan, interview records, evidence collection, findings and recommendation. Outcomes are recorded as substantiated, unsubstantiated or partially substantiated, with actions such as training or a disciplinary process in Core HR decided by HR, and feedback to the reporter.

Statutory workflows and insights

At GA, a POSH Internal Committee workflow covers timelines, inquiry steps, interim relief, conciliation, reports and annual report data, and a vigil mechanism path reaches the audit committee chair where required (both to be verified). Anti-retaliation monitoring watches HR events affecting identified reporters for a configured period. Aggregated, anonymised trends with minimum group sizes feed Enterprise Risk.

What is different

Ethics data is restricted, processed only by in-region models and only for users inside the case scope. No AI is used for investigation findings, outcomes or disciplinary recommendations. Planned for W4 (Year 3), subject to counsel review.
