KYC / KYB

Identity and business verification from the record that needs it, via licensed providers

Planned · Year 3 (W4)Sold as: Add-on (per check)C-122

KYC / KYB orchestrates identity and business verification for customers, vendors, partners and candidates through licensed providers. Results are stored on the shared party and reused across apps.

What it does

KYC / KYB is designed to orchestrate identity and business verification for customers, vendors, partners, candidates and other parties from the record that needs it, through licensed providers. One3 does not operate verification rails; it routes checks, stores results on the shared party record and reuses valid results across apps.

Profiles and requests

Verification profiles bundle the required checks and risk rules per party type and use case, such as retail customer, vendor, candidate, merchant or director. A Verify Action is available on CRM contacts and accounts, Procurement vendors, Recruit candidates and portal onboarding, and through the API.

Checks

Provider connectors are planned for PAN, GSTIN, bank account, company and director data, DigiLocker documents, CKYC search, Aadhaar-based e-KYC or offline verification where lawful, video KYC and AML, PEP and sanctions screening, each through a licensed provider and each to be verified. Documents are collected by portal or WhatsApp upload with guidance, OCR and field extraction, and liveness where the provider supports it. Each check stores status, match scores, provider reference and the raw response under retention rules with masking.

Decisions

Rule-based risk results (low, medium, high) come with reasons. Decisions use maker-checker, and exceptions need approval. Rejection of an individual is always a human decision with an explanation. Every provider call counts toward a KYC checks meter, so the module is sold per check.

GA and later

Re-KYC scheduling by risk rating and triggers, ongoing AML and sanctions rescreening, KYB with beneficial ownership, background verification for hiring with candidate consent, provider routing and fallback, and deepfake and injection-attack signals are planned. Video KYC workflows and global packs follow in W5. Planned for W4 (Year 3); a licensed KYC partner must be signed before release.
