Sales & CPQ

GST-correct quotes within your discount authority, handed to Billing without re-keying

Planned · Year 1 (W2)Sold as: Add-onC-54

Sales & CPQ turns a deal into an accurate, approved, GST-correct offer fast, and hands the accepted offer to Billing and Sign. It owns price books, quotes, discount rules within delegation of authority, and territories.

From deal to offer

Sales & CPQ builds quotes from a deal: product lines from the shared item master with HSN or SAC codes, quantities, unit prices, line discounts, sections, notes, terms and a validity date. Each quote gets a human-readable number. Price books are set per currency with validity dates and tiered prices by minimum quantity.

Discounts inside your rules

Maximum line and header discounts per role come from the delegation-of-authority matrix. A discount above the limit becomes an approval request with a reason, routed through the Approvals Inbox. Later waves add a multi-level approval matrix by discount band, deal size, margin, non-standard terms and payment terms, and AI discount guidance from won and lost history that never goes above a user's limit without approval.

GST done properly

Tax calculation applies CGST plus SGST for intra-state supply and IGST for inter-state supply, based on supplier state and place of supply, with HSN or SAC on lines and rounding rules. Tax-exempt and zero-rated lines are supported. Rules are to be verified with a chartered accountant. Branded quote PDFs show seller and buyer GSTIN, place of supply, tax breakup and bank or UPI details, with Hindi and Tamil labels at GA.

Send, accept, hand off

Quotes go out by email or WhatsApp with a PDF and a signed, expiring acceptance link. The buyer can accept or request changes without logging in. An accepted quote creates an invoice, proforma or subscription draft in Billing with identical lines and tax, and syncs the deal amount. Expiry reminders run automatically, and the Quote Follow-up Agent drafts follow-ups.

Release shape

A quotes-lite subset may ship inside CRM in Wave 2; that is an open decision. The full module, with versions, territories, configuration rules, recurring lines, margin visibility, multiple seller entities, e-signature through Sign, AI quote drafting, quote comparison and quote-to-order handoff, is planned for Year 2 (Wave 3). Price rules from Pricing and a deal desk workspace follow in Wave 4.
