Pricing & Revenue Management

Price lists, rules, promotions and margin guardrails across quotes, store and POS

Planned · Year 3 (W4)Sold as: Add-onC-117

Pricing & Revenue Management sets, governs and tests prices across CPQ quotes, Online Store and POS from one place. Every published price change is a versioned, approved proposal with an impact preview.

One place for prices

Planned for Year 3 (Wave 4), this module manages prices for every sales channel, CPQ quotes, Online Store and POS, from one place.

Lists, rules and promotions

Price lists are set by channel, customer segment, region and currency, with effective dating and inheritance from a base list with adjustments. Price rules combine conditions (segment, quantity, channel, date, customer attribute) with formulas such as cost-plus, list minus a percentage and psychological price endings, with priority and stacking. Promotions and schemes cover time-bound offers, bundles, volume schemes and the distributor and retailer schemes common in Indian distribution, with eligibility, caps and coupon codes. Customer-specific contract prices carry validity and contract links. Bulk updates by percentage or file run with a dry run, impact preview and effective date.

Guardrails and approval

Floor prices and minimum margins per item, category and channel either block a breach or route it to approval. Every change to a published price is a versioned proposal with an impact preview showing affected items, open quotes, active carts and estimated margin effect. Publishing to CPQ price books, the Online Store and POS shows sync status and can roll back to the previous version. Full history records who changed what, why, who approved and which channels were affected.

Regulated prices

MRP and declared price constraints for packaged goods and regulated price caps are planned as validations (Legal Metrology to verify). Counsel review is required before GA because of competition rules on channel pricing.

Evidence-based pricing (Wave 5)

Price realisation and leakage analytics compare list and net price by rep, customer and product. Elasticity estimates appear only above data-quality and volume thresholds. Price tests run through Experimentation with holdouts, stop rules and fairness review. Price recommendations are always proposals.
